Runes play a vital role in battles, as using them effectively with strategic tactics can significantly increase your chances of winning. In this article, I’ll be highlighting some noteworthy 3-skull Runes that you can expect to encounter in the upcoming Alpha Test of Rune Seeker.
Hello, Rune Seekers! As we’ve discussed in previous article, Runes play a vital role in battles, as using them effectively with strategic tactics can significantly increase your chances of winning. In this article, I’ll be highlighting some noteworthy 3-skull Runes that you can expect to encounter in the upcoming Alpha Test of Rune Seeker.
1. Sun dial
The Skill of the Sun is the ultimate ability possessed by each Unit in Rune Seeker, with each Unit having a different version of this skill. Generally, this skill inflicts a significant amount of damage up to 180% of the Unit’s ATK, along with a few other powerful buffs or debuffs. As a result, the Sun Dial Rune is essential in battles and should be utilized to augment the main attacking Unit on your side.
2. Energize
With the ability to buff the effect of Steel (increasing ATK by 30% for the Unit) for infinite turns. This is the Rune you should use as early in the match as possible for your main acctacking Unit.
For all the buff and debuff information, please check this list.
3. AoE (Area of Effect) damage Runes
Fatman: Not only does Fatman deal a fair amount of damage to nearby opponent units, but it also destroys the Terrain Tile’s Element on where it was applied. This allows you to disrupt your opponent’s strategy at crucial moments in the battle.
Rot Curse: With its ability to inflict Poison (dealing damage equal to 15% MaxHP one turn), Rot Curse is also a Rune that deals significant AoE damage. It is best used against enemy tanker units with high HP or bosses in PvP mode.
4. Kneel
Contrary to Energize, Kneel is a very strong pure debuff Rune with Slow (30% SPD reduction) and Disarm (30% ATK reduction), Kneel will significantly weaken every opponent’s main attacking Units and make them vulnerable.
5. Thunderod
Thunderod is undoubtedly one of the strongest defensive Runes currently available, and is especially an indispensable Rune for winning PvP battles. In the best-case scenario, when three of your Units are positioned around Thunderod, and it’s used on the Aer element Terrain, it can provide protection against a massive amount of damage, up to 180 HP. However, it’s essential to note that Thunderod should only be used within your own field, as if it’s used on terrain near an opponent’s Unit, they will also benefit from its defensive effects.
6. Spirit Call
Spirits are special beings that possess unique abilities, which are based on the Four Elements they represent. They can be summoned into battle through the use of the Spirit Call Rune, and even though they only last for a limited number of turns, they are still incredibly valuable assets to have. In fact, they are no different from having a fourth Unit in your squad.
For details on Spirit, please read the article about Four Elements.
Dear Rune Seekers! In this article, we have highlighted some of the noteworthy 3-skull Runes from the Alpha Test of Rune Seeker. However, it’s important to note that this is not an exhaustive list, as there are numerous other Runes that are equally popular and useful, such as Double Tap and Conjure for attacking, and Stasis for defending. Moreover, the official version of Rune Seeker promises to offer a vast array of Runes for players to explore.
